AIRSHOW!

Happy Sunday and Monday everyone! I wasn’t going to post today, but I went to an airshow and thought I’d share a few of the pictures with everyone. I had a good time pretty much, except that it was 90F and that makes it about 33C, I think. So it was warm. Also something bothered my eyes. They burned and watered almost the entire time I was there, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to meet  with a Facebook friend there. We haven’t seen each other since last year! Okay, so I’ve got some old cars here too! I like classics! There were a copy of old men checking out this car in their overalls. They were adorable! And I think they were born the same year! Too cute. So overall it was a good day and I probably put in about six miles of walking so it had it’s perks!

Not sure what year, but you can't have an airshow without a classic car!

  1. I love going to air shows (especially when they have classic cars as an added bonus)! I think the annual static display show is this month down hear at the airport. Last year they had a B-52 bomber do a fly by which was pretty cool. They also were selling rides on B-17, B-24 and P-52s, but the tickets are pretty expensive, so needless to say I haven’t been able to experience that yet.

Those baby planes in your pics are cool!

    • I prefer the classic cars, but the airshow was nice too! I have a friend that I met on fb and we have met there the last couple of years. Her husband paints and has some beautiful paintings from WWI and WWII. Went and seen the Blue Angels last year in San Diego, but their show wasn’t as good as it used to be, not to mention that you couldn’t get close to the field unless you paid for the preferred tickets and they had these huge tents set up for them so you could not see the planes land, take off or hover.
