Treat everyday as a new adventure

Review of “Blood in the Past”

I recently read, “Blood in the Past” by Jordanna East.

Blood in the Past, is the introductory novella to the upcoming Blood for Blood Series.

Blood in the Past 2

Jillian and Mel are mugged as they  leave the subway. When the police officers arrive at Jillian’s apartment, Jillian is smitten with the good looking, older officer, Calvin Kyle. Even though Officer Kyle is married, Jillian has an affair with him, which sets off a chain of events that you won’t see coming.

Jordanna did a great job of intertwining the lives of all the people affected by a simple love affair and the ripple effect it causes, bringing obsession, pain, and murder. Giving a new meaning to it’s a “Small” world we live in.

Some questions were answered. New questions surfaced, leaving the reader wanting more.

You can pick up your copy of, “Blood in the Past” HERE

And the first book of the “Blood for Blood” series will be out this winter, which I am looking forward to.

  1. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and review Blood in the Past, Karen! I have added you to my mailing list (which will not bombard you, I promise) so you will know when Blood in the Paint, the full-length follow-up novel, is released this winter. Thanks again and take care!
