I Support Crafters, Writers, Artists
To me they are one and the same. I am a crafter from way back! I can knit, crochet, sew, and in the more recent years have taken up the love of working with plastic canvas and creating custom gift baskets, and now of course I have gotten into writing. People who create things are very unique, (Yes, I have a fat head 🙂 )
Think about it… Isn’t it amazing how a person can take a skein of yarn and create a beautiful scarf or hat?
Or someone can put together sugar, butter and cream and make super awesome fudge?
Then you have the artist with a sketch pad and a pencil. Awesome!
And then you have the writer…Who takes a few words and makes a sentence, and a few more words become a paragraph,
and before you know it, they have created a book, a story, to take you to far off lands. Amazing!
So today I want to share a few links for some amazing crafters that I like to support.
Connie can crochet and I have purchased items from her. You can find her on facebook here;

Yesterday I got my order of fudge in from Binky’s Fudge…Heaven! This is the first time I have ordered from them. The fudge was delicious. I bought the mint chocolate and the triple ripple. You can find them here;
Robert is an artist who paints historical aviation, with a love of WWI and WWII planes you can find his work here;

Great post Karen! My wife and daughters love crafting but not writing so much. Now I have a way to show them how close we really are:) Thanks for the kind words and showing me the way. Be well!

Tell them, “Whether we are weaving a blanket or weaving a story we are crafting something to share with others!”

I’d share other authors, but so far yours and Carolyn’s books are the only ones I’ve read, need to get busy and read, but for now…Time to Write!
Have a great day!

Thanks for the tips and I write more than I read too! Trying to get caught up on some reading myself.

My older sister was a young bored wife and mom, so when she was 19 and I was 12 she would drag me off to whatever new adventure she wanted to try while her husband worked the swing shift at the steel mill, so we took a knitting class. And then an aerobics class and then 🙂

I love this post, because I like doing all of the above. I write, crochet, knit, quilt… if it’s arts and craftsy, you can bet I dabble in it. LOL
